How to Play Lofi Drive

Tap Play on the main menu. If this is your first visit, a short optional tutorial shows you the basics.

Lofi Drive is built for a controller, keyboard, or touch screen:

• Keyboard — W / ↑ to accelerate, S / ↓ to brake or reverse, A / ← and D / → to steer, C to switch camera, R to reset your car, and Esc to pause or open settings.
• Gamepad — analog sticks steer, right trigger accelerates, left trigger brakes, and the face buttons handle camera, reset, and pause where mapped.
• Touch — on-screen steering and pedals appear when you play on a phone or tablet. The game works best in landscape on smaller screens.

There are no opponents, no countdown, and no finish line. You drive until you are ready to return to the menu, and the game saves what you earned along the way.

Lofi Drive is an endless driving game. The road keeps generating ahead of you, winding through forests, coastlines, mountains, lakes, towns, and quiet countryside.

You are not racing anyone. The goal is to cruise, find new places, and settle into the rhythm. Some routes are wide and fast; others narrow and scenic. Slow down when you want to look around, and speed up when the road opens up.

Discoveries, landmarks, and hidden spots reward you for venturing off the most obvious path. The world is large enough that you can drive for a long time and still see something new.

Tokens are the main currency you earn by playing. They appear as glowing pickups along the road and are also awarded when you discover new places, complete challenges, and interact with the world.

Common ways to earn Tokens:

• Driving distance and time on the road.
• Collecting token pickups scattered around the world.
• Discovering new biomes, landmarks, and hidden locations.
• Completing challenges when they appear.
• Some cars and upgrades multiply how much you earn per pickup.

Tokens are stored in your wallet and are used for cars, upgrades, and workshop improvements. They have no cash value and are not transferable.

Parts are the second resource. They represent the scrap, components, and upgrades you gather while exploring. You can find them by breaking wooden objects, searching near landmarks, and completing certain challenges.

Parts are spent in the Workshop to improve your cars. Upgrades make vehicles faster, more efficient, better off-road, or more rewarding when picking up tokens.

Some cars are especially good at finding or using Parts. A wood-focused vehicle, for example, can knock down more trees and gather more components from the environment.

Every player starts with a small set of cars. New cars are unlocked by spending Tokens in the Garage, or by purchasing premium vehicles directly from the Shop.

Cars are arranged in progression tiers. Early cars are affordable and practical, while later cars have unique abilities, higher top speeds, and specialized bonuses. The most expensive cars are long-term goals that reward extended play.

Premium vehicles and limited-time cars are bought with real money and are permanently tied to your account. Lofi Club members also receive an exclusive member-only car. Every car you own stays in your Garage forever.

The Workshop lets you spend Tokens and Parts to improve your cars. Upgrades are grouped into categories such as speed, handling, off-road ability, and token earnings.

Upgrades are permanent. Once applied to a car, they stay applied even if you switch devices, as long as you are signed in to the same account.

Choosing which car to upgrade is part of the strategy. A city-focused car rewards different upgrades than an off-road explorer or a wood-farming hauler.

The world of Lofi Drive is made of shifting biomes: pine forests, sandy beaches, snowy ridges, mountain passes, quiet villages, and more. Each area has its own color, lighting, and atmosphere.

Landmarks are special points of interest that reward you the first time you find them. Discoveries also feed into some cars’ abilities, which grant bonuses for exploring new places or visiting specific biomes.

Because the road is endless, the best way to find everything is to keep driving. There is no time limit, so you can follow whichever road looks interesting.

You can play as a guest, but progress is saved only on the current device and browser. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, guest progress can be lost.

Signing in creates a cloud-backed account. Your Tokens, Parts, cars, upgrades, and purchases are then stored on your account and synchronized across devices.

Purchases, including Token Packs, premium vehicles, and Lofi Club membership, are always tied to the signed-in account. Make sure you are signed in before buying anything.

Lofi Club is a monthly membership that adds exclusive benefits to your account. While active, you receive an exclusive car, an exclusive trail, and a monthly drop of Tokens and Parts.

Memberships renew automatically each month. You can cancel anytime, and you keep access for the rest of your current paid period. Already-granted rewards stay on your account.

If something feels off, try these steps first:

• Progress looks wrong — make sure you are signed in with the same account. Guest progress is device-only.
• Connection hiccup — a quick refresh usually restores the cloud save. If you are mid-run, your latest rewards are still recorded on the server.
• Purchase did not appear — restart the game to the main menu, open your account, and give the server a few seconds to sync. If it still does not show, visit Billing & Refunds for support steps.
